From reading this forum, I now realize it would be better to plug the charger into the computer, rather than into a wall plug. Ok, I can do that. But, it does seem that the battery is a bit finicky and could be damaged if one is not careful. That seems odd, so..
... how about frequency - it is better (or at least OK) to charge is a bit each day (when i am showering, etc), or should I wait until it is nearly empty and do a long 2 hour charge? Which is better for the longevity of the battery?
Thanks

Charge any way you wish. The batteries being lithium suffer no memory effect like ni-cad. Only thing with the battery is, you either get a good one and get over 3 days, a sub par one and get less than 3 days (seems par for the course with this watch), or a dud that doesn't charge.

Oh darn, I charge mine with a wall plug. I haven’t read anything about charging through a computer would be better. Any reason to that? I hope I’m not ruining my battery.

USB is more or less a set amp/voltage... a cheap no name Chinese wall charger and who knows what amps/voltage it's really pushing. A quality charger that monitors and detects what's connected should be okay.

I've been charging mine daily while I shower and am still getting down to about 70% - 80% after each day. Initially, when I got it, it lasted into the 4th day so my batter seems to be ok.
