How to add Gardening as an activity

I do a lot of heavy yard work and I want to add this as a custom activity but I can't figure out how to do this.

Hi, 

I recognize this problem. One way to get gardening to be seen by the Versa as an activity is to activate "Outdoor Biking". This seems an odd solution, but my Versa sees my morning activities, e.g. showering, as Outdoor Biking. Maybe that helps for you too, kindest regards kuzibri

My thought would be to use the workout mode on the Versa, then after the next sync to rename the workout to Gardening. By passing the edit pencil. Type in 'Gard' then tap on the word in the drop down menu.
