How to “authorize” my Versa & Strava accts

I’m confused about how the Strava app works with Versa. I was under the impression I could go for a run with my versa (ie without my phone) and that the run would sync with the versa app. It was one of the main reasons I bought the Versa because I didn’t want to have to keep bringing my phone for runs. However this is not happening. Also when I look at the Strava app in maybe FitBit settings it says “status: not authorized” even though I’ve followed the link to authorize and I seem to get stuck in a loop. Advice? I just want to keep a log on my runs and stats in one place.

@Kasiunut  Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Thank you for your inquiry. Strava will only pull GPS based activities from the Fitbit account. Since you have a Versa you will need to use your phone to track GPS for your activities. Regarding the link try logging out from both apps, restart your phone and log back in to retry the process.
