Hi,

I leave in Sweden and I set, on my Fitbit.com page, country/language Swden(English) and I have fitbit.com in English. I want to set the language on Versa 2 as English, however right now the watch is set  in Swedish language.

How can I change it to English?

Thanks for any help

@IlMoro Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

Your Fitbit Versa 2 will use the same language that you use for your Fitbit account, in order to update the settings, your watch needs to sync to your account. Please try the following:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab

    > your profile picture.
  2. Tap Advanced Settings Country.
  3. Turn off the option to automatically detect your country.
  4. Choose your country, then sync your device.
  5. Follow the instructions to update your device to use the language you selected.

@Zjefke Welcome back to the Community. I appreciate the troubleshooting tried.

The language will change depending on the location that you choose. In this case, if you select Belgium as your country, the language displayed will be English.

When changing your location, you'll see that next to the country name, it will say the language that'll be displayed, for example in Deutschland, you'll see (Dutch).

Full instructions on how to change your language can be found here

I had similar problems... I'm in the Netherlands but am an English speaker so I chose the option "Nederland (Engels)", Engels being Dutch for English. But this sets the language to Dutch. So I have to choose United Kingdom to force the language to English, then go into the Units menu to make sure these are set to metric.

Typically buggy behaviour from Fitbit <sigh>,

Same problem here, I live in Austria, I don't speak German and I can't change the language to English, then I needed to change the country to UK to force a change. This is super stupid, I'm a developer and that's a kind of mistake not even beginners do, I'm impressed how Fitbit as such big company still having that issue.

Hi,

I just bought the versa 2 and I live in Germany but don't speak German. English its not an. option for Germany as region. So I choose Europe as region option and everything get set up on English. Now its much better and easier for me.
