There is at least one way to see it, maybe two. I own a Versa 2 but the Versa Lite manual definitely mentions the first method.
First method:
Swipe down on the device's screen.
If you having pending notifications on the device, the battery level will show at the top left of the screen, as the control panel is not displayed with pending notifications.
If you have no pending notifications, the control panel will be displayed. From there you have two options:
Second method:
Good luck and welcome to the boards.
Oops - another way to find the battery level, At least on the iOS app.
While on the Today screen, finger drag as if you were going to force a sync.
The battery level is at the right of the sync status panel that is exposed.

Hi @Sfwallace, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. The information that shared @MrMarv is totally correct in order to verify the battery level of your Versa Lite.
I'd just like to share the manual of the Versa Lite so you can learn its features and get the most out of it.
Let @MrMarv and me know if you have additional questions.
