How to customize food on Fitbit Food Log [Versa]

On the Fitbit app, you can log your food and also customize your food if it’s not available, but I’ve noticed some foods, like, for example, Gummy Bears, has a customised serving that says 1 gummy bear, instead of one serving. Does anyone know how to do that when you ‘create’ a food to log?

@SunsetRunner when you create your custom foods, you need to specify the unit. It can be a serving, tbsp, tsp, cup, oz, etc. Personally I like to remind myself what the serving is. Perhaps that's why you can see 1 gummy bear in the name. If you eat 3, then you treat it as 3 servings in this case.

@Marrrmaduke, does this happen automatically or is it chosen? For example Bananas comes up with 1 medium (7” to 7- 7/8” Long). How do you get it to say this, for example, If I wanted to make one called banana?

@SunsetRunner No such luck. We can just choose standard units, e.g. serving, g, ml, tbsp, etc. The rest comes from Fitbit food database.
