Hi
Is there a way to disable the buttons facing the wrist on the versa? Everytime I'm lifting I press the button on the bottom right pausing the workout.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Fernando753. Sorry for the delayed response.
I regret to hear that you are experiencing difficulties with the buttons of the Fitbit Versa while lifting. At the moment, there is actually no option to lock the buttons of your watch. I found a similar request on the Feature Suggestion board called Lock Screen/buttons during Exercise. You are welcome to join and vote the idea and if there is any change, it will be communicated as soon as possible.
In the meantime, if you haven't done it, we recommend wearing your Versa two fingers’ width above your wrist bone during exercise.
If you need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us back at any time.

The watch definitely doesn't stay two fingers width from the wrist during a workout.
