How to fix historical heart rate some data after zones update Sep 2020

Hi there,

I have always been a little active but have taken up running a bit before 2021. I have gone back to view my historical data on zone minutes around this time last year to see my improvement but note that all my data prior to September 1st 2020 is complete trash. Apparently I was getting 8 hours a day fat burn!?

Anyway, from what I can tell there was an update to the way zone minutes are calculated around then which is all well and good but how can I actually see my real statistics prior to that time? I find it hard to believe Fitbit would make a change that means all my old data on this area is useless now (which it is) without having a way to update it. Surely they can recalculate it based on the new formulas or something?

If this can't be fixed, I think a lot of trust will be gone from Fitbit for me and might have to change to another eco system because this is the whole point of smart watches, to track progress, which I now definitely can't and I can't trust that my data is not going to be mucked up.

Any help would be great!

Hi, Fitbit switched from Active Minutes to Active Zone Minutes which could explain the historical differences.

You have the option [second one] from the PC Dashboard to download your complete archive which may give you more useful information.
