Hello @SharynBauer, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. At this moment, the Versa's screen can stay on up to 20 seconds. Please tap on the Settings app, scroll down until you find Back-light delay and tap on it. There are 3 settings, 10 seconds, 15 seconds and 20 seconds.

I understand how important is for you to have the option to keep the screen on for a longer period, which is why I would like to suggest you to check @horse482's suggested idea to implement this feature in a future update. Please feel free to add your vote and comment, this is truly the best way to make your voice heard.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I need a longer screen time in order to read the information, I’m 80 years old and can’t read fast enough with the current screen time.

Hello @Biker1939 thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums. You'll be happy to know that after the latest Versa firmware update the times for when the screen can be turned on were increased. You will now have a 45 and 60 seconds option to keep your screen awake! Go to the Settings app in your Versa and scroll down until you see "Display Awake", tap on it several times until you get to the 45 or 60 seconds options.

Thanks again for your participation in the Forums, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply!

I have the Versa & can change the display time to stay on up to 60 seconds.  Of course, it will use more battery life.

On your watch, move R to L
click on “settings”
Scroll up, click on “Screen Time Out”
One can choose from 10 - 60 seconds by tapping screen to the desired selection. Press side button to go back to your home screen.
(I have a Versa.)

Easy: Move the screen to the left twice. You will see setting icon. Touch
the icon, and you will see 10s (it will be blue). Touch the blue 10s, and
it will show 15s and it will warn you that impacts the battery. You can
keep touch the blue value until it shows 60s. If you touch it again, it
will go back to 10s.
