How to setup the versa 2 for texting and making and receiving calls?

I don't think you can initiate calls from the tracker.

The only way to text from Versa 2 is in reply to a test text notification.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Let me share with you that just as @JohnnyRow stated, it's not possible to initiate a phone call directly from your Versa 2. About texting, if you're using Android 7.0 or above mobile device it's possible to do so with our Quick Replies feature. 

 

Quick replies are automatically turned on for any supported apps that send notifications from your phone to your Fitbit device. To receive and respond to messages from your device, your phone must be nearby with Bluetooth turned on and the Fitbit app running in the background. To use the microphone in Versa 2 to respond to messages, in the Settings app you must ensure that the microphone is Enabled.
