How to remove a day of step counts?

My fitbit inaccurately measured my steps over a short period since I had accidentally changed my run stride length to 1.1cm (instead of 110cm). I have fixed that now but how do I remove the 540,000 steps from the days data??? It's really messing up the comparison with other days. Help!

EDIT: Solved my own problem by deleting the offending activity and creating a new one (that automatically uses the correct stride length). 🙂
