how do u set up a password on a fitbit versa

Open the fit bit app.

Go to your watch settings. 

Towards the bottom it should say device lock.

Click on that and follow further instructions. 

Unsure if it will differ on different device.

Hey @Nobnv, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! In order to unlock your device from your phone, please try these instructions: 

1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon 
2. Tap Device Lock.
3. Find the option to reset your PIN code.

The passcode option is only for special edition fitbit versas. If yours is not special edition you cannot get a passcode. Hope this helps!

Hey guys, @Ankitp, @SunsetRunner and @Monkey_king77. Welcome aboard!

Let me explain to you that, the "device lock" option is only available when you have Fitbit Pay, as @volleyball2624 mentioned. This option works with Fitbit Versa that contain an NFC chip. To check if your Versa supports Fitbit Pay, turn your watch over and look for "Fitbit Pay" in the text surrounding the heart-rate sensor. 

   

As I mentioned, not all the Versa have the NFC chip, it depends in which country they were bought.
