I recently bought my son and i Both a versa special edition. Is there a way to set the time to a certain time and also update it to military time? He has SEVERE anxiety so I need to turn the time back by about 3 minutes. I also work in law-enforcement so I want my time set to military time for a possible help!!! Im new to all this.

Fitbit trackers take time from phone or other sync device each time it syncs.  The only way to adjust time, other than time zones off by exact number of hours, might be if you could get his phone set to wrong time if you really wanted to do that, but I don't know how to do that or if it is even possible.  Does he have his own phone?  If not, there are other issues, but I won't go into unless needed.

To set to 24 hour time,

How do I change to a 12 or 24 hour clock?

  1. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon

     > Settings > Personal Info.
  2. Under Advanced Settings, find Clock Display Time and select whether you want the time shown in 12-hour or 24-hour clock units.
  3. Click Submit and sync your device.

Note that has to be done from the fitbit.com dashboard, that is from a web browser.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@Boymom2011, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! Regarding your inquiry about how to change the time on your son's Fitbit Versa, all the information that @JohnnyRow shared, is totally correct.

If you found his post helpful, please accept it as a solution so other users that have the same question, can find it easier.

As a side note, I'd like to share the Versa's manual so you can lean all its features and get the most out of them.

We'll be around if any question arises.
