How to set up a Versa 2 if I already have an Alta?

I have a fitbit alta registered on my phone, laptop and tablet and now have bought a fitbit versa2. When I try to log into fitbit for the versa2 app  I am being told I can;t use that email address or password because it is already being used. How can I download the versa2 app.

@Woeduck Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned, I'm glad to hear that you bought a Versa 2. 

Since you already have an account created, in this case you will need to set up your Versa 2 in the same account that you have your Alta. If you want to use both, check this article to learn more about it: Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account? 

If you want to set up your Versa 2 using your Fitbit app do the following: 

  1. Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

If you want to do the procedure using Fitbit Connect, follow these steps: 

  1. Click the Fitbit Connect icon 
     
     located near the date and time on your computer. 
  2. Click Open Main Menu...
  3. Click Set Up A New Fitbit Device.
  4. Click Existing User and log in to your account.
  5. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions.

trying to set up my new Versa 2 on existing account and I am following instructions to do that but when the screen pops up asking which fitbit tracker are you setting up ?  it doesn't have Versa 2 icon to choose.
