Hi I recently bought a Versa and whilst mohave successfully connected to my android phone the same cannot be said with my Mac's fitbit desktop app because when I try to complete the setting up process Versa does not appear in the list of options available, in fact the only smart watches I can see are Blaze and Surge.I would like the app because want to connect mainly for music transfer purposes. Can someone please advise me? Thanks

Having set up the fitbit on one device there's no need to set it up another. Instead, you just need to sign in using the email and password you used before.
There's an additional issue in that you can't use a Mac to setup a Versa, it has to be a mobile device. This is why it's not on the list.
Just for info, this help file may help with the music setup (which is quite tricky!): https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2251/

The infuriating thing is that I cannot get to this point on my Mac because in order to do so I have to get past the setup process ,It seems to me to be very remiss on the part of Fitbit not to include Versa on the list of trackers.

But if you've done the setup on your android then there's no need to do it again. You should see the option for sign-in alongside the option for setup.

After my personal details are comfirmed a new window opens which gives me 3 options " Manage MY Music ,Set Up New Device and Sync Now" The first and last one tell me to turn on Bluetooth to synch trackers or music and the middle one gives me the options to either "create new account as in New to Fitbit or existing User " I opted for the after of the two , enter my email address and password and then the list of compatible trackers appears which does not include Versa >Maybe i am missing something but don't know quite what

I don't know what to suggest. I'm neither a Mac user nor have I loaded music so I am out of my depth. Hopefully someone else will be able to chip in.

I think the issue I have is that I cant get it to synch .For whatever reason Mac refuses to pair with Versa , in fact Mac Bluetooth doesn't even have it on its list of "discovered devices".One suggestion is to switch bluetooth off and on again but that would disable both the mouse and keyboard so on the only solution would appear to be purchase of a dongle
