I have searched this and also tried to do it on my watch but just can't figure it out. I simply want to start and stop a walk on the watch and not on my phone app. I know how to do it on the app. I need to know how to do it on the watch.

From clock face, scroll right(swipe left) until see 'Exercise'; tap that, then scroll up or down until see 'Walk' and tap that.

How do we stop it once started. I am able to pause it but don't know how to
complete or stop it.

When you Pause it, you get a checkered flag at the top right.  Tap that.

Thanks, I don't associate a checkered flag to mean stop. A stop sign or simply the word stop would have made more sense. Thanks for clarifying what should have been more intuitive.
