How to stop Versa 2 to light up when I receive alerts?

I am getting a little annoyed now regarding the Fitbit versa 2 lighting up and displaying my notifications every time I receive one. My question is is there a way that the versa 2 will just vibrate to alert you that you have a notification ie a text etc. not vibrate and then light up to show you most of the full message all the time I would rather just lift my wrist to look and see that I have a text message etc. Thanks in advance

Fitbit Versa 2 will light up every time you receive a notification. Currently, it's not possible to turn off this feature. However, I noticed that this idea has been posted in our Feature Suggestion Board here, please vote and comment on it to show your support.
