How to stop tracking steps on fitbit, or be able to not let friends see total steps.

I was wondering if there was a way I could track step on my fitbit but not the app, at least to where my friends cannot see them. My girlfriend uses it and due to her condition she has a hard time reaching her daily steps. I want to stop tracking through the app because I'm afraid she'll get discouraged If I get way more steps than her. Any help will be much appreciated!

@DaveBlack Welcome! It's good that the community is growing!

Thank you for your inquiry. Currently this isn't possible but you can share your idea in our Feature Suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exist so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.

The only thing I could think of is syncing the next day so only the first few steps of the day shows although your weekly data will show your progress.

Let me know how it goes.
