How to track an activity in a stationary bike?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When I'm on a stationary bike I set FB to Spinning. My FB  counts every 3-20 pedal rotations as a step, and adding to the daily total. I assume since FB knows I'm on a stationary bike, there should be a way to not log these as steps.

Is there a way to disable or remove the step count on stationary machines and keep the activity, heart rate, calories burned info?

Or maybe I'm logging the activity some other way.

@walterm1234 Welcome to the Community. I'm glad to hear that you just bought a Versa 2.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Thanks for the details mentioned.

It's not possible to remove the steps that are tracked when you're on a stationary bike. You may want to log this activity as a workout because this will show you: duration, bpm avg, bpm max and calories burned during this time. Learn more about it here: How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
