OK. I cannot download music, and I cannot register the versa on the app on a mac (it is not listed as a product).
I've looked at the forums. I made my itunes available for sharing on xml. I plugged into the cradle plugged into my computer. I did not turn off bluetooth on my computer as the 'help' indicated -- because without bluetooth I have no keyboard or touchpad (I'm using a desktop).
Please -- how do I put music from itunes on this thing. Please.

Hi there @JeddNJ, nice to have you here in the Fitbit Community! I was reading you are experiencing issues to sync music from your Mac desktop computer. Not sure if you have tried the steps from our help article, so as a matter of review these are the steps to follow:
Start here the first time you download playlists to your watch. If you previously downloaded playlists, skip to Part 2 to download new music and podcasts.
CONNECT TO WI-FI
Make sure your watch and your Mac are able to be connect to the same Wi-Fi network:
- From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon
your device image.
- Tap Wi-Fi Settings.
- Tap or click Add Network and follow the on-screen instructions to add your Wi-Fi network or check the Network list to make sure it’s already listed.
- Tap the network name > Connect.
- To see which network your computer is on, click the Wi-Fi symbol
on your screen. Connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your watch.
If you have trouble connecting your watch to Wi-Fi, see Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?
INSTALL FITBIT CONNECT
Make sure to Install Fitbit Connect that lets you download music and podcasts from your iTunes Library to your watch. Note that is not require to pair your tracker again as along you log in using the same Fitbit account.
- On your Mac, go to http://www.fitbit.com/setup.
- Scroll down and click the option to Download for Mac.
- Double-click Install Fitbit Connect.pkg. The Fitbit Connect installer opens.
- Click Continue to move through the installer.
- After the Fitbit Connect window appears, continue to Part 2.
PART 2
- For best results, sync your watch in the Fitbit app, and then disable Bluetooth temporarily on your phone and computer.
- Plug your watch into the charger.
- In the Fitbit Connect window on your computer, click Manage My Music.
- If prompted, log in to your Fitbit account.
- On your watch, open the Music app
and then tap Transfer Music. Note that you may need to scroll down to see the transfer button.
- Wait a few moments for your watch to connect. Note this can sometimes take a minute or two.
- When prompted, follow the on-screen instructions on your Mac to choose the playlists you want to download to your watch. After you choose a playlist, the download starts automatically.
- Note that if you take several minutes to pick your first playlist, Wi-Fi may disconnect to preserve your battery. Tap the Transfer Music button again to reconnect and continue choosing your playlists.
Hope this helps and keep me posted if the issue persists.

I found it worked best if I created a playlist just for my Versa. It is important the whatever music you want to transfer is music that physically resides on your computer. Pulling from Family Sharing won't work.

Thanks. That's pretty much exactly what I did and I got it to work. I transferred a few small playlists at a time rather than all the songs I wanted in one playlist.

I have tried all that is listed and have had no success. What I have noted is soon as I sync in fitbit connect it takes me to my account. How do I get back to the connect screen? If I select the icon again and tap the button Manage my Music it requests me to log in, I do so and then it tells me this feature only works when I have a device paired to my account. Any clues or answers!

Check that your Versa is connected to the same Wifi network that your computer is and that it's a 2.4 GHz band.

I know that a lot of people are having a terrible time connecting. I can connect my Fitbit to my computer, and get to the 'manage music' screen on my desktop. But, when I choose my playlist - only 73 songs, specifically for Versa, all songs on my" computer - it says that it's determining download time, and then informs me that my device storage is full, can't transfer any more playlists at the moment". I got this yesterday; there's no music on it. Now what?

Thanks. Very encouraging but when I tried your suggestion, my fitbit continued to say "Use your computer to start transferring music." As you know the desktop app on my mac air does not recognize versa. VERY frustrating.

I tried all of these steps and NOTHING is working. I have been on live chat with customer service 3 times and they can't figure it out either. This is incredibly frustrating as the musics aspect was my entire reason for upgrading. I can connect to my mac with the fitbit connect app, I have changed my settings in iTunes, but I cannot get the playlists to show up on fitbit connect or the versa. ARGH!!!!

I finally got my Versa and iTunes to work. Took a few tries. From your iTunes song list. Download the song and then copy and paste it into your music folder on your desktop. I created a folder in the music folder. Then from the Versa personal music I created a play list and then right clicked on the drop and drag and opened my music folder. Then opened the folder I created with my iTunes. I control A all of the songs. Then open and they drop into the Versa playlist I created. Boom. I have created 4 playlists now. After several days of frustration I am officially happy

Hello
I want to put music on my versa and the only computer I have access too is a Mac, when I do all of the steps, and it comes to the point to add playlists I add a folder with music (downloaded from iTunes) and I press ok and then it does nothing! What to do?

@Kingcrazytajuan Create a playlist to use for your Versa not a music folder. Go into your iTunes and make a playlist of music that is all music that you purchased (not downloaded from a streaming service that you have a subscription to) and is physically residing on your Mac (not from Family Sharing). When you get to the step to select music during the transfer, select this playlist.

I have a PC so not sure if Mac will be much different.
But I copy and downloaded iTunes to a music folder. Then I opened Versa and created playlist. I then opened the music folder and control A to copy all songs in folder and dropped them into Versa.
I hope this makes sense

Nothing works. So frustrating. Just bought this Versa for $230 and I can't get it to transfer songs. My PC shows the device is paired via bluetooth. Both the laptop and the Versa are on the same WiFi network. I connected to Alexa Echo with NO PROBLEMS. It's this Versa and my PC, Windows 10 to be exact. So frustrating.

@XanderD13. You do need to refresh your Versa connection to WiFi and it has to be the same wifi connection that your computer is using. My wifi router provides both a 2.4 gHz signal and a 5 gHz signal. I have to double check that my computer connected to the 2.4 gHz band and reconnect my Versa (to the same 2.4 ghz band) to get the computer to recognize the Versa. Does that help?
