Anyone have issues with transferring personal music to the Versa? Using mobile app, it says to use desktop app. Using desktop app, after logging in it says sorry this feature is only available with watches you have paired to your account... It is paired. I don't understand.

Hi @CloudBuster & @jwojo,
Personal music has to be transferred via the desktop app. The mobile app will remind us of this.
Take a look at this post by ErickFitbit, that outlines the requirements for the desktop app. The post was in the Ionic forum, but the software setup is the same as for the Versa. Give that a go, and let us know if you get stuck somewhere.

I think it transfers via wifi from the desktop app. Once I figured it out it easily transfers playlists off itunes, although slowly.

I can't figure out how to download music to my Versa.
I'm using a MacBook Pro and I downloaded the Fitbit Connect App. When I try to link a device, it says that the versa is only available on the Mac only on the mobile device. My mobile device says I need to transfer music through a computer. HELP! I want my music 🤣

I'm connecting from my Mac but its saying its full so cannot transfer any music (there is no music on there) looks like an old unresolved old issue. doesn't look like we will be listening to music anytime soon

You have to use the charger and plug it into the usb port of the computer. Then you get the fitbit app for the computer. Sign in and at the top there will be a picture of a music note. Click it and choose "personal music". Then you can download music from your computer. I'm still trying to get my songs transferred. Made my playlist though.

It was supposed to be easy, but it bothers me that fitbit does not make it easy. Here's how I did it, as far as I can remember:
(1) download and install an app called "fitbit connect". I think it is hidden somewhere. I downloaded today and cannot find where (but google it and you'll find several sites with links for it)
(2) connect the cradle to your Mac (I connected it via an adaptor to USB-C)
(3) after it's installed, make sure you have in your fitbit an app called "music". Touch on the music icon and "Transfer Music" will appear.
(4) Run iTunes (I don't know if this is necessary, but it may be). As soon as you run the fitbit connect on your Mac, your Playlists from iTunes will show up.
(5) Click on the ones you want to transfer. I did not transfer many songs. It is a very slow process. But it worked.

I can't get the music to work either. Some random playlists show up on the Mac app, but I can't actually transfer anything and 99% of what I have on the computer doesn't show up.

I feel like i'm going around and around. First I look at my mobile App and the message shows that I have to get the desktop application. So I have now downloaded the desktop application. I signed in. The next window asks which Fitbit am I setting up. Small writing at the bottom shows that the Versa is mobile settp only. So do I set up adding music to my Versa through the desktop application or my mobile device? Which ever one is correct how do I get past these messages on either device?
Thanks 🙂

Adding music isn’t considered “setting up”. Start on page 51
