So i need some help everyone.
I recently brought a fitbit versa and it locked itself saying that i need my phone to unlock it. Then i tried to change the pass code but said their was an error to connecting i turned my phone off completely and tried to do it again but failed. so i unpaired it from my device and now i can't pair back because i can't see the four digit code because the versa is locked. I keep on trying to factory reset the fitbit by holding down the button and then releasing the bottom right when the logo disappears but i never get a strong vibration to reset again. The watch has become useless for me and i am starting to become annoyed. If you have any suggestion please help me. thank you 🙂

@jjwu Do not factory reset. I hope you didn't unlink Versa from your account (delete in the Fitbit app), just unpaired from phone:

I have the same issue but unfortunately i have removed the versa from account following someone else's advice. Now when i want to place the versa back on the account i don't see the code. About to return this device as it doesn't track properly and Bluetooth is bad. Any tips?

@Lizseager the only way is to factory reset now:
You may need to attempt the reset a few times to find the optimal times. Trying holding the buttons longer, as long as it's needed for the vibration to appear.
If you're successful with factory reset, please remember to remove Versa from your Fitbit account (in your Fitbit mobile app) and Paired Devices list in your phone Bluetooth settings as you will have to set it up again (add as a new device).

@Lizseager I am really sorry to hear that. 3-button factory reset is tricky to perform. If you cannot complete it, please reach out to Customer Support. They're really good about it and they might replace it. Good luck and let me know how it goes!
@jjwu did you manage to unlock it?

I ended up returning my fit it versa to the original store I brought it from and fortunately it had 2 years warranty. The staff at jbhifi were unable to unlock the fitbit, so I just got my money back

I was unable to unlock the fitbit versa. I tried for about 3 hours and staff at jbhifi tried as well unfortunately it didn't factory reset and they just gave me a refund

@jjwu I'm glad you got it resolved even though you had to return the Versa.

@Lizseager At this point, it would be best if you reached out to Customer Support to guide you though the next steps. I am afraid if you cannot reset the device, there's not much you can do.
