How to unlock a locked Versa?

I purchased a new Versace today - 😁

i had of all set up & working beautifully 

I then tried to change band and it ended up having some missed pin attempts 

it is now locked 

watch says unlock with phone

wheb I go to phone app & to tomdebive blocked it will not accept my new password 

so frustrating

get a message.. Device authentication failed

every time i press device lock.. and when i will change password I get this message

the soloution does not work. my versa is unpaired and the credit card removed but cannot repair as can not see the 4 digit pin to reconnect because versa is locked still. all this because the pin code screen goes whacko when its wet

I followed the instructions but keeps says an unexpected error occured. Please try again later. OK. How long do I have to wait till I try again later

Yes have tried that actually did a Web chat with fitbit and have been asked to wait while they try and find a fix been 2 days now and nothing heard

Please i need help.. I had the same problem i got permanent block after my kid play with my versa. When i tried to change Pin it wasnt work l.. I was angry i removed versa from my account.. I tried to conact it again it is not working.. Did i lost my watch for ever???

Same as Pepipongo above.  I ended up calling the help desk, they did all the standard reset things, including holding down the three buttons, releasing one, etc, but no go. Really very disappointed. 

 

Was eventually told theyre working on the issue and will get back to me. I asked for an ETA and they repeated the same script.  Just nonsense. I wish I'd have bought a Garmin.

Sadly, no I had to take it back and they replaced it with a new one, my display screen started to flicker then disappeared altogether, I went into settings and shut it down several times, then opened again, it appeared to work at first , but started to flicker again, still not sure what the issue was. In the end I could not even put the pin number in, as the screen was jumping all over the place.

Hi, I could find a fix for my issues, I eventually took it back (John Lewis) they gave me a new one, as they confirmed my display screen was knackered, I could not even enter my pin number as the screen was jumping all over the place, not sure if this is a common problem,

I have just created the same issue with my wife's watch.

This must be a common issue therefore surely there is a way to fix it.

Hi.
You need to go into settings and disable the PIN Function, also try going into settings on the Versa (if you can get into it!) and select shut down, this will re-boot the versa, good luck

Nope, that doesn't work. I've already gone through that several times. This seems to be a design fault centred around the security feature regarding credit cards. 

 

Still waiting for the help centre to get back in contact with me. It's been a few months now. I'm not holding my breath, but I do feel it's really bad service.

Hi - did you eventually sort this out cause I have been trying daily for a week. Can't unlock, can't use the bloody thing and can't install updates? **ahem** product!!!

I agree - wish I had of bought a Garmin as well. Cannot believe this can't be fixed!!!! Cannot even install updates!!!!

figured out why my pass code wouldn't work. I was entering my fit bit pay pass code, nope it wanted me to enter my PHONE pass code that I would use to unlock my phone screen! Who knew?
