I purchased a new Versace today - 😁
i had of all set up & working beautifully
I then tried to change band and it ended up having some missed pin attempts
it is now locked
watch says unlock with phone
wheb I go to phone app & to tomdebive blocked it will not accept my new password
so frustrating

@Sal71 Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! According to the instructions you just need to do the following:
Are you getting an error message when entering the new code? If so, could you share a screenshot of it? Try logging out from the app, restart your phone and then log back in. Retry the setup a new code process and see if it works.

Hi I have the same problem and have tried
changing the pin
turning phone off
turning Fitbit off
uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit

Hi,
I am having the same issue but mine isn't saying "reset pin" it says "change pin" which I do but when I go through the steps at the end this pops up "the operations couldn't be completed(FBluetoother-rorDomain err46.)
please help!! 😞

I am having the same issue as well. Only thing that hasn’t been mentioned that is applicable to me is that I am using an iPhone X which uses facial recognition to log in.
It asks me to change pin which I do, then it says ‘Change pin failed ‘
I have logged out of the Fitbit app and still having the same problem.

I have tried removing my credit card and it won’t allow me to until I change my pin! Which is what it won’t let me do. Get rather frustrated with it to be honest!

Ok this is getting weird now. It started working all of a sudden this morning after taking it off for my shower. I’m now sitting at my child’s Karate class and I look at my Versa after feeling a vibration and it’s locked again?!?!?!?

I called the helpline this morning and they got me to go through all the usual checks( restarting phone/app etc etc) They are now looking into it for me. I’m waiting on an email from.

I'm having this issue as well.
I'm missing my Ionic more and more each day! Seriously tempted to return the Versa.
I've got a scratch on the screen that I probably did while trying to change bands. I don't know how/why this design was approved! It's not user friendly at all!

Small update on things I tried to get it working. I tried to change the pin on another Versa on a different phone and it failed as well, it’s possible they have a bug in the app (or the Versa) that’s not allowing it to change the pin.
It’ sad to have a Versa thats less than a week old that you can’t use.

I wanted that feature but apparently, it's only open to Versa SEs even tho in the manual it says its open to everyone. Please add this to regular versions too! Don't want creepos looking thro my stuff!

Hi all,
After spending a while trying everything support wanted me to try, I managed to unlock the device by connecting it to an android phone and resetting the pin from there. It seems that the iOS app has a bug as I thought earlier.
Hope this can help someone else.

Connecting my Versa to an Android phone totally worked!
Here's what I did for those that need some guidance.
I downloaded the Fitbit app on an Android phone and logged in. My Versa was already visible.
I turned off Bluetooth on my iPhone, then I went to the Wallet tile on my Andriod Fitbit app.
The phone asked me to set a pin, then re-enter the pin on my Versa.
Versa unlocked!
I think I'll be turning my Versa off next time I want to change bands.

I had to reset the fitbit versa.
To do that
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

Hey guys!
so I was changing the band on my Fitbit Versa, then my versa came up with the msg “blocked, unlock using iPhone”
i then went to change it on the Fitbit app and it said “device PIN failed”
I’ve been struggling with this issue for 3 days now, until I called Fitbit customer service and the really nice operator gave me the soloution!
step 1: Log into Fitbit.com/login
step 2: on your dashboard find the gears button located on the top right hand corner :gear:
Step 3: Click on versa/iconic
step 4: scroll all the way down till you see Fitbit pay
step 5: deactivate Fitbit pay
step 6: go back to the mobile app
strp 7: sync your device first
step 8: try changing your pin again and it will work!
