I purchased a new Versace today - 😁
i had of all set up & working beautifully
I then tried to change band and it ended up having some missed pin attempts
it is now locked
watch says unlock with phone
wheb I go to phone app & to tomdebive blocked it will not accept my new password
so frustrating

Hi, I have tried everything but nothing works. Now my fitbit is still unlocked and disconnected from my phone. When I try to reconnect it says that there is an issue with Fitbit pin. When I log into my account online I cannot see my Versa. The fitbit app can detect a Versa, but can't connect and restarting the phone and Versa multiple times does nothing. What do I do?! This is incredibly frustrating, particularly when I don't even have Fitbit Pay active - no credit card linked to it.
Can someone tell me how to get this resolved?

Nope! I followed the steps. Didn't work. I can get the phone and Fitbit to sync but it comes up with an error message when trying to disable or change pin code. What am I doing wrong? Please help.

Does it matter if I login to the web based portal on my phone? Or should I do it on my PC? Should it matter?

Omg, i want to thank you a million times over!! My 9 month old locked me out of my versa over a week ago and i could not figure out how to change the pin for life of me! Thank you so much.

This did not work for me. I contacted Fitbit live chat and they talked me through it.
The other things to try are:
> Press the left button and the bottom right button on the Versa together and hold. This is a restart for your Versa.
> Restart your phone.
> Sync with Versa and try changing or disabling pin.
*If it still doesn't work or comes up with an error:
> Disconnect Bluetooth from Versa and "Forget" on your phone.
> Try uninstalling and reinstalling installing the Fitbit App from your phone.
> Sync with Versa and phone
> Try changing or disabling the pin.
Mine unlocked ... Yay

Versa is now back on track.

i'm on an Android device and unlocking the device will not work. I hopped on my Surface and see that there it says "pending". My surface apparently will not sync with my versa (?). Fine. Microsoft hello also got involved when i tried to look at the Pay feature which is set up on my phone and my versa. My Surface does not see it in the app (WEIRD right?). Can't unlock the stupid thing.
All because i decided to change the straps. Silly me! How DARE I touch my Versa. I get it now, should've somehow turned it off (is that an option?) before wiggling it about to get the straps on. UGH. More minutes of my life wasted on dealing with my Versa. When it's working properly t's good but when it does these things, it is the worst. It makes zero sense. Why is the App not even synced...it's AN APP, why is it getting two sets of data depending on the device? Crazy.
I drained my phone's battery so that's it for the next 15 minutes. SO annoyed.

Hi I just did exactly the same. Blocked my watch while changing band. Followed these instructions and it worked yayyyyy thanks people 🤗👍🏻 For now keeping my Watch unlocked.

Woke up to this image this morning. Phone said device was blocked.Reset passcode and hard Versa reset.Appears to be working now but unclear why the Versa was locked. Any idea what happened or is it just a Fitbit bug?
.btw, been having issues with Fitbit Pay.

I can't even get to the hard unlock. It started when I went on vacation and left my charger behind. After getting a new charger and the watch completely dead, first he gave the wrong date and time then the time never came back on and all I can receive is a message that there is no messages. No heart rate no exercise no nothing. And I don't know how to get it going again.

If all else fails call Fitbit ... They have a helpdesk that helped me. Sorry I don't have the number anymore but you can look it up. The guy ran through it step by step, over the phone with me.
