How to use "Find my Phone"?-Versa 2

Hi does anyone know how to use the "find my phone" feature on the Versa 2. I have it synced to my Huawei P20 but I can't for the life of me get the feature to work? Any help would be gratefully appreciated

In order to use the app Find my Phone developed by Fitbit, please be aware that you must have created a Fitbit account and set up your watch. 

Then, please install Find my Phone on your Fitbit Versa 2. For instructions on how to install Fitbit apps, please visit this article, open the menu "How do I add apps to my Fitbit device?" and follow the instructions.

Once Find my Phone is installed on your watch, please open it by tapping once, then tap on Find Phone. Your Versa 2 should be no more than 30 feet from your phone to locate it. You can find instructions on how to navigate your Versa 2 in this site.

Whether you are referring to a third party app, you can contact directly the app developer.

Hi ! 

How can I install the app when it says :

Before installing this app, verify that the fitbit application on your phone and on your fitbit device has been updated to the latest Version. 

(Trad from French, it may not be exactly the samedi un English 😉) 

I checked, everything is updated, I received the versa 2 today 😁

Congratulations on receiving your Fitbit Versa 2. Thanks for the information provided.

Currently, the latest firmware version for your watch is 35.72.1.9 as stated in this article. Please be aware that for Fitbit devices set up recently, it might be necessary to wait a couple of days to be able to download the most recent firmware version. Over the next days you'll receive in the Fitbit app a notification to update.

Once your Versa 2 is up to date, you should be able to download the "Find my Phone" app as well as any other app that you want.
