Hello all,
I have the fitbit versa since July and was connected to my Samsung. However, for my BD I received the Huawei Mate P20 lite and I am struggling to sync. I didnt know until today that there is some devices that is not compatible so I just bought yesteesay fitbit versa to give to my husband for xmas but he has exactly the same phone. So apparently we both not gonna be able to use the maximum from the fitbit? Is There any update for soon or we should start thinking to sell them as there is any soon update for it? Thanks

There is a specific issue using fitbits with Huawei "lite" phones. Fitbit say:
"Due to Bluetooth issues that prevent certain devices, like Fitbit devices, from syncing, our products aren't compatible with the following phones:

This has been the situation for many months and my reading of it is that there's nothing fitbit can do to fix it so I wouldn't expect anything to change soon/

Whether your phone is supported by Fitbit, you can find here: www.fitbit.com/devices. Type the name of your phone and you will see if Fitbit supports it or not at this very moment. Updates always will be there, so keep a close watch at the above mentioned site. I had the same problem with my phone: bought the Ionic and phone not supported, after three weeks my phone was registered as supported.

I hope they can do something about it with the new devices 😞 otherwise Will have to sell it as basically gonna be just a normal watch and waste of money. Thanks for your post anyway!

I hope it Will be the same with mine and that a update comes up soon, otherwise Will be a waste of money having the watch just to check the time 😞

You're very welcome and hope indeed that your phone will be supportes within a short while. BTW, do you have a tablet, if yes which one? I installed Fitbit also on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and it works flawlessly. Might be a temporary solution for you.

Yea actually I have the same but I dont use that often.. is easier to get everything on the phone but yes it might be better then anything for now 😄

To be honest, I prefer Fitbit app on my tablet more than on my phone. The Versa uses the Phone's GPS but I hardly use GPS, thus my preference for the tablet.
