Huawei P9 Lite and Fitbit Versa 2

Hi my phone is not on the compatible list it says I need OS 8.0 or above do I have to buy another phone to be able to use my fitbit or can.I update to OS 8.0 or above ,nit that good with technology unfortunately 😩

Hi @Mugwump56  you would need Huawei to update your phone's operating system to the required Android 8. Unfortunately, not all phone manufacturers update their phones all the time, which results in our having to get new phones every few years.  If you could get a new phone, be sure it's compatible with Fitbit requirements. You probably will need to buy another phone. Technology creeps into our lives. You'll be fine. You found the forums and that's often the first step in learning more!

@Mugwump56   I just want to clarify that the p9 Lite isn't on the compatible device list for a completely different reason.  I did a brief internet search that says that there are ways to update your OS, but you will still have problems.  Your phone is incompatible.
