I Can't Change My Swimming Units

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi. I've been using my versa for a few months now and other then a small screen scratch no issues. But while I'm swimming I enjoy to know how far I've swam. However when I go to check my distance after to make note of It or something it has changed to Yards. This adds more unneeded steps to my routines and I would prefer it in metres alike while I'm swimming. I could've sworn it was metres before and I haven't changed it. I've been through the settings on my iPhone (6s) but if I change my account to metres on swim it does nothing. Please help.

It's great to see you around @JakeP2400.

I recommend verifying that you are doing the following from your Fitbit app to change your units:

  1. Tap the account icon.
  2. Tap Advance Settings.
  3. Tap Units.
  4. Select the units of your preference.
  5. Sync.

Keep me posted. Man Happy

I have tried that before and it hasn't worked for reviewing distances afterward, it works if I check my distance while swimming but if I look at it after on my watch it still displays it in yards.

I had this same exact problem. Log onto Fitbit.com, sign in to your account, click ‘settings’ under the cog on the right, go to ‘advanced settings’ and change the length unit to ‘centremetersk. After you sync your device your swim stats will be in metres not yards. Hope this helps!
