I returned my Fitbit Versa for a replacement and I was in such a hurry, I totally forgot to reset it to factory settings.
I've removed it from my Fitbit account, iPhone, and my Planet Fitness app. Should I be worried that I didn't reset it to factory settings?
I don't think that the watch itself kept any personal information? Or should I be contacting Best Buy to go back and try to reset it to factory settings?
If someone gets the watch and connects it to Fitbit, will my information show up?
I'm a little concerned and want someone to reassure me that everything is fine or not.
Thanks
Susan

Hi, my advice would be to go back and do a Factory Reset to be safe on all sides. Although you removed it from your account, your account is still existing. You can also contact Best Buy and ask if they would be so kind to perform it for you, you never know what's on your Versa that's left behind, like notifications, etc.

Did you have credit card info stored on it?

Hi J, she already mentioned that no personal information was on her Versa, so let alone a Credit Card stored. Nevertheless, it's always mandatory to do a FR when you sell/send back your Versa for whatever reason. Regards.
