I have been a fitbit user for the past 5 years or more upgrading the different fitbits I owned.  My current one is the Versa.  I am finding that the Fitbit is poor quality and is not designed to last more than a year. I have had my versa for one year now and the strap has already broken.  However that is not the biggest of my issues - the versa will not sync because it is not showing up on my list of bluetooth devices.  I am using an iphone 7.  I have tried everything and have even called in to technical support just to be told that it is an issue that the fitbit engineers are aware of and are working on a resolution.  What a load of crap !! After you pay almost $200 for the versa there are bugs in the system that are not resolved???? I know this will be my last fitbit and I will NOT purchase another one.  I am leaning to a more reliable source like the Apple watch.  However in the meantime, anyone have any solutions on how to update - because even the clock is incorrect because it cannot sync.

Yep, I'm done. I love, love, love the idea, but it just simply doesn't function on a reliable basis. I've gone to a factory reset - but now it won't connect at all. I've spent all afternoon trying to fix it. using their "solutions".  Again. I'm so disappointed. I don't know if the apple watch is any better, but I absolutely will not purchase or recommend this product. It should not be so difficult to use.

You are not alone. As per the strap it has broken on mine in 4-5 month in. As per firmware the latest is really bad. Starting with notifications sipped going trough.  I have had sync issues. (Turn off your BT and back on. Quit the app and it will work again) 

the watch has a ghost tapping random things on it etc.

I have tried quitting the app, turning the bluetooth on and off several times, rebooting the versa, rebooting the phone, deleting and reinstalling the fitbit app - BUT NOTHING WORKS !!!!! aarrrrrgggg !!!

Mine is exactly the same.  I have tried absolutely everything. I have even tried pairing with my wifes phone and it still doesn't work.
