Okay, so wore it last night, where the heck do you track sleep?

I'm returning this. I've read through a lot of the things you have to do to make it work. Not happening. Not after I just paid $250 with tax for this thing and waited patiently for it. FAIL. And my expensive scale that no longer works due to connectivity issues is also a fail and has been for long time. Disappointed in a big way.

You shouldn’t have to do anything for it to track your sleep. Just sync it to the app and it shows you the information in the app.

It is an issue and Fitbit is aware of it. They are working to fix it

IN bright pink on top of fitbit community screen: We're investigating an issue with sleep logs showing '0 time asleep'. Users have reported that editing the sleep log resolves the issue.

Like above I bought the Cerda for sleep tracking. About a week ago it stopped syncing with my iPhone. After trying all the forums suggestions, I now have no sleep tracking tile on my app. Also now I have to sign in? What’s going on? I’m new to fit bit and this is getting to be a real pita. I hate wasting my time on crap. I may be sending this back after only a month! What gives, everywhere there seems to be complaints.

Tile missing? Add it back in your Fitbit app. Just press and hold on any tile, they will go into edit mode. You should see sleep tile with a little plus sign. Now, if your Fitbit is syncing everything but sleep (e.g. steps, calories etc.), my advice is uninstall Fitbit app, reboot your phone, log in.

It’s not there only a female health tracking! Not me! Not there! As I mentioned in my post, I followed instructions because mine had stopped syncing. Now I have to log into a website which I did not have to do before. Is there a way to get phone support? Or I just give up and send it back for a refund. I can’t waste hours texting and e-mailing back and forth if this thing just doesn’t work right.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app? This plus rebooting Versa are two things to try first. Reinstall Fitbit app, then reboot your phone and finally reboot Versa. To reboot Versa hold left button and right bottom button together for a few seconds until the Fitbit logo appears. All these 3 things performed together should help. Hopefully.

You probably already have the latest OS version as it is installed as soon as versa connects to Fitbit app for the first time. Weather updates are dependent on your versa connecting to your phone. I am not sure how often it gets refreshed. I think each 30 min but don't quote me on this.

I bought the new versa for swimming and it doesn’t count lengths correctly. I swam 64 of a 25 pool and it logged I’d done 53 lengths and metres were incorrect also?
I also bought it to log sleep and it doesn’t take into account the hours before midnight. I go to bed between 9 pm and 10pm most nights and it just logs the hours after midnight? Why?

@Kitty47 I never used my Versa for swimming so can't help you with counting laps, but sleep tracking should work fine. Have you tried rebooting your tracker several times by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until fitbit logo flashes? Also, do you have any sleep presets in your fitbit mobile app, e.g. bedtimes, etc? If yes, clear them all and sync your Versa. The presets in the app have been known to cause issues with sleep tracking before.

I don’t find any icon for sleep tracking. This is very important to me. What am I missing?

@Kitty47 Do you have any sleep presets set up? Like bedtimes? Remove them. They're known to cause issues.
