Hi
Where I live, I can get the Ionic for around 20$ more than the Versa.
Seeing a lot of people at the start of the Ionic experiencing lots of problems, does the Ionic now, after months of updates/fixing just as good as the Versa?
Is there anything the Versa does better than the Ionic except for looks?
And to those who have switched to the Versa from the Ionic, why did you switch?
Thank you

@knowsnofitness It all depends on whether you want to use GPS without being tied to having your phone with you or not, which is the essential difference. That and the looks. I’ve an ionic and it works fine.

Me too. I love my Ionic and problems have been minimal. As the Versa is using the same operating system as what the Ionic has now I dont think there will be much difference. I like the look of the Versa because it is smaller and I have very small wrists and hands.

Not only this, but the number of people having issues are actually quite minimal. Most people are just not in the forum talking about it because they are out enjoying the watch. I, on the other hand, love being in forums I can say I haven't really experienced any "bugs", or at the very least nothing that has truly limited my enjoyment of the watch. I love the Versa.

I have an Ionic, and I just bought a new Versa. I have absolutely zero use for GPS, and frankly, I'd rather have a tracker without it. Just unnecessary complication, battery life eater (possibly) and so on. The Versa is certainly lighter, and a different look from the very straight-cornered Ionic. Frankly, I'm not so sure that I'm happy with the differences in the displays -- I thought that the Versa displayed more text -- and it might -- but it is a "taller, slimmer" screen whereas the Ionic is "wider." I'm not so sure that I prefer the Versa screen, but I've only had the thing one day.
But, those are the main differences, from my perspective -- if you don't need on-board GPS, if you'd like the different shape of the Versa, and if you'd just like a lighter, possibly smaller device (I'm not sure about that), then you might want to consider the Versa over the Ionic. Or, of course, you might prefer the Ionic. But those are the differences that I see.
Oh, also bear in mind that only the Versa "Special Edition" devices have the NFC that enables Fitbit Pay. (I think that's the story -- certainly, only the Special Edition devices have Fit Pay capability.) So, if you want that, the Special Editions cost a bit more. Whereas all Ionics have that capability.

I had the ionic and now have the versa, for me the versa is mch kore comfotable to wear, in fact for me its the most comfortable fit bit to date and i had the charge and surge previously. I could never reslly sleep with the others as the feel bothered me but i have no provlem with the versa in that regards
