I can't change the playlist on my Versa 2

Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone help me? I can get Spotify working on my Versa 2 and I can change the song playing on my phone but I can't find any playlists on my Versa 2. When I go to the library, it's completely empty. I've tried to download playlists and songs on my phone, synchronize, uninstall the app and reinstall it and listen to different playlists but nothing helps. It was one of the reasons I bought the watch so I'm probably going to return it unless I can get it to work. :---(
