I can't find where I have a notification on my Versa

I have the Galaxy Note 8.  My phone constantly shows that I have a notification on my Fitbit app, but I can't find where I have a notification.  Any ideas?

It's just a red dot on my app icon.

I think that dot is a confirmation that notifications are working.

I see. I get the same dot on my other apps when I have a notification that
needs to be addressed (unread email, unread text message, missed phone
call, etc). Backwards on the Fitbit App?
