I can’t reply to text messages from my Versa lite

I just got the Versa lite.  I can see text messages but I thought I was supposed to be able to reply to them with quick responses as well.  When I get a text it shows, but only offers clear as an option.  I have everything turned on in all the spots I know of.  When I go to quick response in the app it is light grey so I can’t click on it. What do I need to do to get it to work?

Do you have Android phone?  Quick reply does not work (yet) on iPhones.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Oh. Good to know! I do have an iPhone. I didn’t know it didn’t work on
them yet.

That is in the help section documentation somewhere but not particularly prominent.

@Bhetlet Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Nice to see you've joined the Versa Lite family. Smiley Happy

Like @JohnnyRow  has already mentioned, its currently not a feature for iOS devices. You can read more here: How do I respond to messages with my Fitbit device?

I wish I would have known that I did not have quick reply's with my apple phone, I don't think I'd have bought this!  This was the one feature that sold me!  I work in a classroom and being able to just look at my watch and click a quick I can't talk right now or I'm in a meeting is just what I needed!  I'm thinking of returning this now 😞  If I had the original versa would this feature be available?

Sorry, no; not available on any Fitbit models.

I agree, I wish I would have known that as well, I would have reconsidered purchasing it.  When will this option be available for iPhone users?

I have an Android phone but I am still not able to use quick reply as an option

This should be made clearer on the website. I have now wasted my time with two devices that said quick replies were available.

Having the same issue and I have a Galaxy Note 9. Were you able to get this resolved?

Turns out, it isn’t available to iPhones.

I don't have an iPhone but am having the same issue. I get the notifications and it gives me the option to reply but the recipient never gets the reply and it doesn't show on my phone that the reply went through. When I had the Charge3 I never had the issue so wondering how I can resolve this with my new versa lite.

Hmm.... I’m not quite sure. I wonder if it only works with certain
types/versions of phones?

yes I did, I'm not sure what phone you have, but when I asked back in February, they said I couldn't because my phones android model is below the one required, I think it requires android 7+. They also told me, that it only works for android phones they haven't developed it for apple yet. at least that's what I was told in February.
