I can't set up Versa watch

I've been trying to set the Versa up for two days. Nothing is working. It says that it's found and then it says there are bluetooth issues. I've turned everything on and off, reinstalled the app. and nothing is working I keep getting the same message. I nevee had any issue with the charge or Charge 2. Is the Versa a dud?? How can I get it to work?

@Maried829 Did you manage to link Versa with your Fitbit account? If you open Fitbit mobile app, does Versa show up there? What's your phone model and OS? Do you still have Charge 2 linked with your Fitbit account?

It does show up but I keep getting the same bluetooth message. I took the Charge 2 off. I have an Android G7 Thinq

@Maried829 If you see the Versa under your account then it has been linked. It seems like you need to restore a proper bluetooth connection with your mobile:

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair within your phone's bluetooth settings
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  6. Grant all permissions and sync
  7. Make sure Always Connected and All day sync are on. If you're running older fitbit mobile app (below version 2.85), enable Keep Alive Widget as well.

The trick here is to not pair in phone Bluetooth settings but rather let the Fitbit mobile app do that. If the problem persists, I recommend downgrading Fitbit mobile app to 2.74.2. You can find apk flying somewhere on the internet. I find this build to be the most stable one for me.

Additional tips: If you have Wifi set up, remove it from Fitbit mobile app and sync. I found it to cause issues for me. If you have other bluetooth devices paired with your phone, forget them. One of them might be interfering with Versa.
