I can’t set up my Versa. I get the code to type in but then it doesn’t go any further.

Hi, maybe this guide might be helpful for you. It uses WiFi to setup instead of BT.

@Lyns3y   The advice offered by @SunsetRunner will not help you.  Your initial set up is by Bluetooth, as you connect to your wi-fi a few steps down in the initial set up.  I saw your post in a different thread that says you are using an iPhone 8 -- a fully compatible phone.  When you type in the code, do you get the "spinning wheel of doom" or something different?  Also, I see that this is not your first Fitbit, so make sure your current Fitbit is at least 10-15 feet away to prevent Bluetooth interference.

Please try these steps (no guarantee that it will work, but it is my approach):

  • Delete the Fitbit app
  • Turn off your phone
  • Restart the Versa (press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until the Fitbit logo appears)
  • Turn your phone on
  • Reinstall the Fitbit app and log in
  • Go back to the Set Up a Device and try again

Please get back and let us know if this does not help.

Hi yes I have tried all of those things and it still doesn't work, sadly.

@Lyns3y   I'm sorry that my suggestion didn't help.  If you haven't been able to connect your Versa, then I think you should contact Support, by phone or chat if you can.  I peeked at your profile and I see that you are an experienced Fitbit user.  I am at a loss to understand why your Versa won't set up.
