I decided to say by bye forever to Fitbit

I know it sounds very dramatic. But I refuse to spend more money on a company that cannot repair its own products!

my Versa stopped working properly about 14 months after I bought it. By that time it was out of the 1 year warranty. Tried everything (troubleshooting, update of IOS on my phone, etc) but I suspect the problem was with the hardware as the screen was black with yellow edges.

Just a while ago tried contacting the customers support center for any advice, because I thought they’d tell me to just send the watch to their repair center (was willing to pay for it to get fixed) an oh surprise! There are no repair centers, there is no way to fix it! How is that possible???

They did send a 35% discount coupon to be used in the next month, for a new product, which I will mot use because I do not want risk the same outcome.

mind you, I really liked my watch. It is a pitty I won’t be buying more Fitbit products.

Hi @SunsetRunner  on October 5th, a Fitbit Moderator suggested you get with customer support. Sometimes a discount is all that can be given when a device is out of warranty. Had you gotten with support initially, you wouldn't have been out of warranty? Sorry this happened, but there are no repairs for any of these devices.
