I have reset my Versa and deleted it from the app

i have reset it and now it has a fully blank screen it’s been on charge all night. this is the Fitbit Versa and I have reset it with the side buttons and it won’t work now.

Any help will be amazing as I’ve just got this and I don’t want to have to buy another one

HI @rpotts870  -  there is a risk factory resetting a watch, due to a bug in the process, which can render the watch useless.

 

You can generally confirm that it is dead by letting it discharge for a week, then when you press a button it may show 0% and that's all it will do.

 

However, it could be other things, try.

  • press a button briefly and wait a minute
  • double tap the screen and swipe the watch face left
  • on the phone remove the Bluetooth entry for it
  • in the Fitbit App click profile photo and then " + Set up a Device"

If it produces no signs of life it will need replacing where you bought it if it is under warranty.

it was working completely fine I just forgot my passcode and i had to reset it i can’t understand why they would put a feature on there so it would break !

@rpotts870- unfortunately the factory reset bug seems to happen frequently. Warranty is 1 or 2 years depending on country law.

The bigger question is why hasn't the bug been fixed in all these years.
