Every day I have to go through this twice or three times... It is really getting on my nerves. I go to the bathroom or just to drink water and leave my cell phone behind for a couple of minutes and then it will never sync again, so I do not receive notifications ! Nothing! ... Then I do everything suggested: Check bluetooth, turn it off and on, Gps, close the app, ect, but the jonly thing that works is reseting the Versa to default ( Seriously?). Do I really have to do this ? I can not believe that we way much cheaper devices it never happened to me . Do not get me wrong... Apart from this inconvenience, It works fine when it works.

I see @SunsetRunner is helping you out with this one, but I thought I would chirp in. I would like to share my experiences and what works for me as I've been known to struggle as well...
Just as a side note: If you have set up the wifi, please remove it. Go to your Fitbit mobile app, tap on Versa, Wifi, and forget the network. Then Sync. I noticed that having WiFi network added really messes up things for me. In other instances, the above procedure usually works. Hope it will work for you as well.

This one works. Thank you. But I still cannot believe I have to do things like this just for syncing.

@Carlos6379 That's the thing... It usually keeps. Unless you have WiFi. The trick here is one has to forget Versa from Bluetooth settings and let the Fitbit mobile app pair it! Other trick is to downgrade fitbit mobile app to 2.74.2 (if you're on Droid). This build was best and I rarely had to perform the procedure. Now I'm on 2.84 because I updated the firmware this morning so had to update the app as well. Had issues almost immediately. Figured out it was wifi. It has been working since I deleted it. But, I am not saying I won't downgrade to 2.74.2... I just hope it works with the new firmware... ughhhhh
