I'm Keeping My Fitbit Versa because ...

Like many of you early adopters of the Versa, I too was plagued with battery issues and sleep tracking working correctly.

I did return my "Day One" edition and got a replacement.  I have run two tests and had 3 full days with 13% remaining and 4 full days with 9% remaining.

Here is my configuration:

* "Layers" clock face from Fitbit.  I believe this addressed both battery and sleep issues.

* I have Quick View on and use it quick frequently.

* I Sync frequently.  I'm in multiple challenges and my OCD always forces me to ensure I'm number 1

* I have 9 notifications enabled.

* I removed any programs that requested the permission to "run in the background"

* I have the new firmware update

* When I charge it, I charge using wall charger for 2 hours after it hits 100%

Other than limiting my choices of clock face, you should be able to get a solid 3 days before you need to charge, and if you are lighter on notifications, 4+ days.

I'm going to run another test using the Star Trek watch face to see how long it lasts!

Thank you for this!  I have changed my clock face to the one you use to see if it helps with my sleep stats.  Can you please clarify about apps requesting permission to run in the background?  Where have you removed them from?

Basic (disintegrated), Ultra, One, Surge (returned), Flex, Charge, Alta, Charge 2, iPhone 7 Plus, Macbook Pro, iPad Pro.
