Hey FitBit,
I’ve installed a new clock face (Big Ben Analog) on the FitBit app for my Versa, and I wanted it to put it on my Versa for later.
But last night, I’ve put my FitBit on the charger, and the screen turned different, by then I noticed my clock face changed, and I’m trying to fix it. Once I opened the FitBit app this morning, the app said it’s still switching to the Big Ben clock face, so then I restarted my Versa, and it showed the Big Ben clock face in the app. I’ve decided to then switch to the original clock face (Layers), but then it wasn’t working,
I’ve tried syncing it a lot, and I was try to connect it to the internet, I was having problems with connecting to the internet, but syncing it didn’t make it work, and when I’m waiting for it to switch, it keeps on saying in a minute or 2, “Cannot install clock face, try again.”. I’ve tried installing a random app, as the app suggested it for me.
So as I’m begging you guys, please fix this problem, or tell me how to.
From a big FitBit fan of yours, and greatest swimmer,
Areesh Malik.

Usually the can not install click face message comes with either
The app is in the middle of a sync
The app is having communication problems talking to the tracker
The app is unable to contact the Fitbit server.
Try restarting the Versa and/or the phone thus usually helps me.

Hey there,
I just wanted to let you know that my Versa and my FitBit app is now working fine again! Since this morning, I checked my Versa, and it has it’s original clock face, the app can now let my Versa connect to the WiFi, and the app I downloaded (Roll the Dice) is now on my Versa.
I think what the problem was, when I was installing my Big Ben clock face and then switching to my Layers clock face, I let all of the permissions (including the “Internet” one) be allowed, and I thought I didn’t need to connect my Versa to the internet first, but then whenever I need to connect my Versa to the WiFi while I need to switch my clock face, the Versa doesn’t show me any WiFi results. But when I put my Versa on the charger or away, it then just take a while to just set up all of the changes.
I think this may have to do something with the WiFi, because at my house, I have some WiFi pods that are in many different rooms in my house, and those WiFi pods get their WiFi through the router/gateway. So usually when I have my Versa connected to the WiFi, it usually connects to a random WiFi pod, which shows 1 or 2 bars of WiFi. And sometimes, my Versa disconnects from the WiFi. So maybe when I put it at rest, it will be able to take it’s time, and do all of it’s work.
This was kinda a similar problem to when I was trying to set up my Weather app on the FitBit app for my Versa, it wasn’t syncing the Weather info at first, but when I put it at rest, it then starts to do it’s work.
I think I’ll get used to of it. But you can give me more advices if you want, and I’ll save your advice for later.
From yours truly,
Areesh Malik
