I think I just need to say this.  I love my new Versa. I HATE the new bands.  How many nails do I need to break.  Man Mad

I just got my Versa yesterday and the band just fell off today. I wasn’t even trying to switch to another. I can’t get the band back on to save my life.

Hello @cate2505, I hope you're doing well, thanks for joining the conversation. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the forums and the insight about the Versa bands. What I've found really useful is putting the Versa band in a vertical position when putting it on, this will make the pin easier to hold when changing the bands.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I can fit a new band quickly and easily now, thanks.

Hi, see this video about changing bands. Hope this helps.

Thank you. I watched a ton of videos, but mine wasn’t going on as easily as they showed. I finally got it attached but took a while.

Glad to see this forum already exists and I am not alone in my hatred of the new band style. I had only changed my band once before today and had hoped not to have to again, but needed to and quickly realized why I had not wanted to change it in the first place. My nails are now bent all out of wack, and my cats got to hear some fowl language in the practically ten minutes it took to change the bands.

FitBit, PLEASE MAKE THE CLASP EASIER TO CHANGE BANDS. This is silly. The Charge2 was so simple and worked really well. I was really excited about my new Versa, but am now questioning it a bit, sad to say. 😞

Girl yes, you are spot on! Just got a versa today after having an Alta HR and I’ve already broken both thumbnails

@ErinY  @Silvesa86  @Jennnajak  @LindaJS  @sbowen314   I, too, am tormented by  this design.  I found this this tool on Amazon.  I thought the additional pins would be helpful, too.  I broke a pin, but was able to use the pin from the large strap.  I figured that if I broke one, I would eventually break another.  The tool is AWESOME!

I got my versa for Christmas and O M G...putting the band on was flipping painful on the finger tips.   I ended up finding some on Amazon by searching versa replacement bands that were much easier to put on and vert stylish.  I found a YouTube video that helped too.  Once your used to it it’s a breeze, but I still can’t get the Fitbit original band on and so I don’t use it!  good luck!

I'm sure you've already considered this, but Amazon has a nice selection of bands, screen protectors and other accessories that go nicely with all the Versas.

I know I just moved from a charge hr 2 the bands were super easy I had to have my son help me with this one and now one of pins to push it open has disappeared I have no idea how I’ll change the band now

I think the response from Fitbit to review the video over simplifies the actual problem is which is the fact that changing the bands on the Versa is no small task.  I would not recommend the purchase of a Versa because it is such a problem.  I have had the Charge 2 and Charge 3.  It took less than 30 seconds to change the bands.  The Versa, I have been trying for over an hour to change the band with no success.

I had the same frustration with the “Fit Bit Versa” bands. OMG so annoying and painful. However the bands sold on Amazon are very easy to get on! Takes seconds

Thank you for the reply. The bands I am using are from amazon. Can you tell me which company made the bands you are having no trouble with. Thanks so much for your help.

I am so glad to find the tool! Thanks! I just ordered it. Hoping it will work with the pins that came with my Fitbit. I broke my nails twice with just trying to use them. 😞

If anyone is looking for a soft very comfortable band that lets the skin under teh strap breath? I found this on Amazon:

Kmasic Sport Strap Compatible Fitbit Versa/Fitbit Versa Lite Edition, Soft Silicone Strap Replacement Wristband for Fitbit Versa/Lite   Comes in a whole host of snazzy colours too.  Buy a small set of needle nosed pliers. These will save your nails 😉

Blaze, Surge, Ionic and Versa1. I am not a FitBit employee.

I also can't change my band.  I would like to use different bands sometimes but I can only get one side of my replacement band on.  I am very disappointed in this as I really like the Versa, but not sure what to do about this issue.

Tired of the "really glad to hear that" crap. This is the third Fitbit product I've purchased and you can rest assured it will be the last. My mistake was deciding I needed something "fancier" than the Alta, a decision I've come to completely regret. So I got an Ionic, which died after less than a year of use, though I did mostly like it. I decided to get a Versa Lite, because it seems to be halfway between an Ionic and an Alta. and I can't even use it because I can't get the **ahem** band to stay on. I received it at around 11:30 AM today and it's now after 8PM. My day has been completely pissed away trying to get this band to stay on.  I can't for the life of me figure out what the heck the Fitbit folks were thinking with this design. I've watched the vids and Googled the hell out of this and I just can't get the band on. I know that, at 59, I'm not the most nimble-fingered man in the world but this is just absurd.
