I'm ready to throw my Versa in the trash and never buy another Fitbit product

I have had this for 5 months and it has constant issues.  It keeps failing to sync and I have to remove it from my app and re add it.  Now it hasn't synced in 5 days.  I restart the Versa, remove it from the app, remove it from the phone bluetooth.  My phone recognizes it via bluetooth but the App still wont' see it and says there is an issue with Bluetooth.

I contact support and their answer is my Moto G phone is not tested and supported so I'm lucky it ever worked.   This is one of the most common Android phones, running the most recent version of Android.  It has also worked fine for months until now as far as syncing with the app. So now I have a $200 "smart watch" that is 5 months old that doesn't work as advertised and I'm told to buy a new phone to "try" to solve my problem.

The heart rate monitor is not accurate.  The step counter is not accurate.  The sleep monitor is not accurate.  The phone apparently can't work with standard bluetooth protocol.

I'm not sure what the warranty is but I'd assume it's longer then 5 months but Fitbit refuses to help me or stand behind their products.  Now I am left with a $200 dumb watch.

I've now done a factory reset and Versa is stuck in a loop at bootup screen.  I chatted with another support rep who also says my phone is not supported.  That is not an acceptable answer.

Solution is get a supported phone (iPhone) and an Apple Watch and you won't have problems with Versa because Fitbit doesn't know how to write functional software that works with open standards.

I do have an IPhone and it doesn't sync.  Doesn't show text messages except randomly once a month or so.  Doesn't track heart rate any longer.  I have to tap it 3 or 4 times to get the screen to show at all!

Yes, Fitbit clearly states which devices are compatible on their public list here: https://www.fitbit.com/devices.

This is so that consumers can know ahead of time and make a decision on what to purchase or not.

Have had the Moto X for 2 years. Got my Versa in July. The Moto X and my Versa synced fine until Tuesday afternoon this week and I  am so frustrated.

I’ve had mine a few years this summer it stopped sending notifications. Now
no BPM and no text messages. I have to tap several times to see any info.
Ready to chuck it.
