I'm receiving repeated notifications from my Versa 2

 Why the stuff am I getting multiple notifications, often from the same people, and often the wrong name attached to those same peoe, that are also up to 2 years old. Surely fitbit can fix that. Its the worst app ever for things like that. They just never seem to get fixed!

To try to resolve the issue, please restart your watch and set it up as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1629932726084.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

That Versa 2 has nothing to do with it, this is happening on my ipad. It is simply incompetent running of the app and Google not fixing the problems they inherited...I had high hopes with Google taking over but if anything things are worse.
