I have charged my Versa and it says 96% charged yet I am getting notifications to say the battery level is low. Not sure which is accurate and how I sync it

To sync go to you app and your account (credit card icon) and select Versa. Then tap sync now. If it stops going around tap again untill it tells you it synced a moment ago.
But I would think the Versa telling you it is at 96% is the accurate information.
