I noticed last week that it had become harder and harder to press the power button on my Fitibit Versa 2. But here is the funny thing, the power button is not stuck and I can press it just fine. Pressing it just doesn't always turn on/off the screen.
Then the Fitbit Versa 2 began to get progressively worse. My Versa 2 display screen which normally shows the image I chose along with stats such as time, calories and miles, also began to act funky. The image itself began to pixelate and fade. And then suddenly, only showed the faded image and time and nothing else. A few times it blipped back to normal, but I'm talking nanoseconds because it would promptly return to the faded image and time only.
Okay. So. It still charges because I got the Versa 2 to 99%. And I was long due an update so I finally updated it to the current version just a day or two ago. That still did not fix it. And then 24 hours, my displayed image is gone and the display face seems to have reverted to what it may have looked like originally when displaying Fitibit stats. (Oh, and the screen became unresponsive to tapping)
At this point it has sat on my table for the past several days and I have not bothered to charge it. I just let it die honestly because I can no longer use it. Which is sad, as I used to wear it all the time except when showering.
I've maybe had this Versa 2 since December 2021. I would have to check my diary I suppose.
Is there anything I can do and what are my options?
TLDR VERSION: My fitbit is unresponsive from the power button to tapping the display face. It can still charge and updating it did not work. What can I do now?
