I've had Fit Bit and Samsung for years and have never had so many problems as I do now. First it was the sleep forum change. I was told to uninstall and reinstall to get the old graph back. It never fixed and now i have this awful graph that is impossible to read. And since I uninstalled my app and reinstalled it I cannot get my text to go back to my watch. I have tried everything. I went into Verizon... useless!!! I tried to do a live chat with Fitbit... useless!! I tried to use this community forum... useless!!! I have googled all sorts of results to fix it... useless!! Nothing will fix it. I have a Samsung Ultra S23 and a Fit Bit Versa 3.
I'm about to give up totally on fitbit and get a different brand.

That's what I am doing. The Fitbits are absolute trash.
Got myself a Garmin Forerunner 255; on sale now for $250. Laughably superior and once you know what strava is, you just can't keep going with fitbit. Especially given the absolutely laughably terrible GPS. If Fitbit was used for space travel, the astronauts would get accidentally rocketed to Ohio instead of the moon.

Hi @jumfleet - uninstalling the Fitbit App won't normally fix anything and can make matters worse, as in your case.
Unfortunately when the redesigned Fitbit App was released in September 2023 people were unhappy with the poor interface and loss of usability, the sleep section has since also been modified which hasn't improved anything either as many are posting about it.
To get notifications back you will need to set them up again in the App, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
You can still have the syncing problems which will also stop notifications.
Though to be sure the watch is accepting notifications, swipe the watch face to the right and make sure Sleep and Do not disturb are off.

@KHOC Best laugh I've had in a minute - "Rocketed to Ohio instead of the moon
I can honestly say I've never relied on the GPS on my fitbit but the few times I looked at mine I was definitely scratching my head and wondering wtf it was thinking.
