I’ve tried EVERYTHING. Versa 2 does not work

I had a charge 3 that had so many issues I had it replaced up to 3 times. Finally I gave up and just took the 50% discount on the Versa 2. 

I have had it for 48 hours and it doesn’t record my sleep or my heart rate.

 

I went to the forums. Restarted it, turned the heart rate off and on again. Nothing worked. 

Logged into Chat help (which is normally great but not this time) and was told to factory reset and reinstall. Did the reset but now it won’t connect when it finds my device.

 it just says “connecting” for HOURS, like overnight HOURS. I am beyond frustrated and the chat support isn’t connecting right now. 

I feel like I wasted my money and considering all of my issues with my charge 3, that Fitbit is becoming a name that I can’t trust.

Ok so I was able to get ahold of chat support and they had me force quit the app (which I had tried before) but ALSO disconnect all devices attached to my Bluetooth and turn my Bluetooth off (I had done that before too but not in conjunction with the hard quit of the app) left everything off for 10 seconds and then like magic it all started setting up as usual.

 

ALSO! HR is working now! Looking forward to seeing if it tracks my sleep tonight.

 

wanted to update in case anyone was having issues “straight out of the box” like I was.
